Who are Dreamers?
¿Quiénes somos? Who are we?
Well…
Somos luchadores. Always fighting for our dreams. Fighting to give our families a better life. Fighting to be seen, to be heard, even when the world tries to silence our stories. We don’t stay down went knockdown, we rise, con fuerza in our hearts and fire in our eyes.
Somos constructores. We always building something. Building homes from memories and hope, building futures out of scraps and sweat. We improve every space we step into cause we refuse to live in desvergue. We organize the chaos, make it beautiful. And we build dreams not just for us, but for those watching, waiting, and wondering if it’s possible.
Somos amorosos. We love hard, so hard that we’ll leave everything behind. Our lands, our language, our families, Just to give our children a shot at something better. We work through the flu, the pain, on birthdays, on holidays, because our love doesn’t take days off. We give our all, and then somehow give a little more.
Somos una bendición. A blessing wrapped in so much words can’t even describe it. We bless every space with laughter, with food, with music, and so many more things. Our culture is not a costume, it's a crown we wear daily, even if some try to overlook the shine.
Somos inspiración. We are the “sí se puede”. A chant that echoes through classrooms, streets, job sites, and courtrooms, We are proof that limitations are lies. We are role models of different shades, shapes, and sizes, breaking cycles with every step forward.
Lastly,
Somos revolución. Quiet or loud, we shake the ground. We vote. We march. We speak. We dance. We rewrite narratives with every breath. We are not guests, we are roots that extend to every part of the globe. We aren’t burdens, we’re a blessing. We aren’t invisible, we’re invincible.
We aren’t intruders, we’re innovators.
Quienes Somos? Who are we?
Well,
Somos Latinos
